Cookie Policy

This site sets no cookies. It stores two small values in your browser for the length of your visit, both first-party, both cleared when you close the tab. There is no analytics, no advertising, and no cross-site tracking here.

The short version

Most sites open with a banner because they load analytics and advertising scripts that need your permission. We do not load any, so there is nothing to ask you about and no banner to click through.

Cookies we set

None. This website does not set cookies.

What we do store

We use two entries in your browser's session storage. Session storage is not a cookie: it is never transmitted with your requests, it is readable only by this site, and your browser discards it when you close the tab.

  • ee-entered — records that you have already seen the opening animation, so it does not replay as you move around the site. Cleared when the tab closes.
  • ee-attrib — if you arrived through a link carrying a campaign tag, this holds that tag so we know which campaign a form submission came from. Cleared when the tab closes.

Neither identifies you personally, and neither follows you to any other website. Both are what a privacy regulator would call strictly necessary or functional storage.

What we deliberately do not use

  • No Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or any other analytics product
  • No Meta pixel, LinkedIn Insight tag, or any advertising pixel
  • No session recording, heatmaps, or scroll tracking
  • No third-party font loading, so no font provider learns that you visited
  • No cross-site tracking of any kind

The one third party on this site

The review request form is protected against spam by Cloudflare Turnstile. It receives your IP address and browser details in order to tell a person from a bot, and it may set storage of its own in your browser under Cloudflare's control.

It loads only after you start interacting with the form. If you read the site and never touch the form, Turnstile is never loaded and Cloudflare is never contacted. We changed it to work this way deliberately, so that browsing this site does not involve a third party at all.

Why there is no cookie banner

Cookie banners come from the European ePrivacy rules, which require consent before storing anything non-essential on your device. United States privacy laws work differently: they give you the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information rather than requiring permission before storage.

We do not sell or share your information, we run no analytics or advertising, and the only browser storage we use is functional and lasts until you close the tab. A banner here would be theatre. If we ever add analytics or advertising, we will add a real consent control and say so on this page.

Clearing what is stored

Closing the tab clears both values automatically. You can also clear site data for this domain in your browser settings at any time, and nothing on this site will break. If you block storage entirely, the opening animation may replay and campaign attribution will not be recorded, which affects nothing you can see.
